Music is the handmaid of the liturgy. It contributes to the decorum and splendor of the Church’s ceremonies. Its proper aim is to add greater effectiveness to the text, in order that through it, the faithful may be the more easily moved to devotion and better disposed for the reception of the fruits of grace belonging to the celebration of the Most Holy Mysteries. If you like to sing or you play an instrument, consider sharing your gift with our parish for the worship of God. For more information, contact Fr. Kristopher or Elizabeth Matula (Organ Scholar).
